End of 2015 and start of 2016 Firing Weekends for Post Members at the Bullethole in Belleville and at Gun For Hire in Woodcliff Lakes.We fired 9MM Barretta, 22 Ruger, 12 Guage Shootgun, and an AK47.
April 21st 2018 at 1 pm (1300 hrs for military types), The Bogota VFW in conjunction with Bogota City Hall, Bergen County Administration, the City of Hackensack, and the Nam Nights Motorcycle Organization will be holding a bridge re-dedication ceremony for the Lt. William Ryan Memorial Bridge that crosses from Olsen Park in Bogota and enters into Hackensack next to Bowler City and the Ice House skating rink. This bridge crossing has been closed well over a year. Bogota High School will provide patriotic music, and taps will be played to honor the Lieutenant. We will also have bagpipes playing. Several guests to include local and regional politicians and honored guests will be in attendance. Lt. Ryan's friends that knew him in the military and in high school and his son, along with the Lt's bothers and sister will be in attendance. Around 40 to 50 motorcycles are expected from the Nam Nights will lead a procession over the bridge once it has been re-dedicated. Join us for this re-dedication and to honor a fallen local hero. Cake and coffee will be provided after the ceremony at the Bogota VFW 241 West Shore Avenue in Bogota. The ceremony itself will be held on the Bogota side of the bridge crossing, again at 1pm
